You commented that "there are NOT 6 managers and 3 outside employees at LL&P. One GM, one finance manager and one distribution manager. The office staff is paid hourly as are those outside employees. Please recant your statement because it is wrong. Here are the 6 managers/ administrators/ supervisors or what ever you want to call them: Greg Pierce, General manager Steve Donkersloot, Finance manager Tom Russo, Distribution manager Doug Barns, Generation Supervisor Mark Droug, Lineman supervisor Ron VanOverbek, Safety/generation director I count 6, not three. I believe gray fox was referring to the line workers as outside workers. Yes Mark Droug is an outside lineman but LL&P considers him management. That's a lot of management for only two "non management" line workers. The only other outside workers that in know of is your meter reader. Your quick recant will be greatly appreciated!

To the other side, just because someone has manager in their job desription doesn't mean that they don't contribute significantly to operations at LL&P. The majority of LL&P employees are happy to be a part of the improved operations of LL&P and apparently don't want to be paying monthly dues to be represented by the union. Managers are not represented by the union.
Respectfully Greg Canfield

Hey, wait just one minute! I never said anything about unhappy workers, workers that don't want to join the union or how productive they are. What is your problem Mr. Canfield? Why did you immediately take a defensive position regarding the union and who wants to join?
As the chairman of the board for LL&P, if this is your attitude towards the union and the workers who joined, no wonder negotiations are going so poorly.

Posted by theotherside on Today at 8:14am Hey, wait just one minute! I never said anything about unhappy workers,
Neither did I, why are you bringing it up?
Why did you immediately take a defensive position
Because of the recurring theme in your posts that two workers do all of the work at LL&P while they are managed by 6 managerswho do nothing but manage and harass them.
Sorry but these attacks are getting old

I tell you what, I no longer want to engage in debate with you. All of your answers are political. How can I have a rational conversation with your attitude? My reoccurring theme is that you, the LL&P board and the general manager are and have been deceptive to myself and the public. I have never said that the managers don't do anything, you put that in my mouth. And with your answers to the big questions you have admitted guilt to many of my accusations. I won't respond in this thread. I want to respond in the original thread so that the people who are following hear the truth. I will say it has taken me quite a while to get you to finally admit to many of the allegations but finally you have. Thank you.

why Mr Canfeild do you still find it nesscary to hide behind the truth of the matter just answer theotherside's questions or do you need help. I beleive theotherside gave you the web links but you still speak of unhappy workers. isn't the general managers contract with the board of LLP say he is also reasonsable for employee morale. but thats ok if some of them are happy.a good manager would work out problems with all.Greg Pierce needs to move on and new board members need to show up. we the public see where you stand.
