Newsletters sent with every customer's utility bill are full of outright deception and lies!! I've tried to believe that things would get better and that the public's concerns would ultimately be honestly discussed. Instead, we again receive these one-sided newsletters. In reality, we've had Council meetings where the public's concerns are ignored or even treated with contempt. Board meetings are held in a room where no one can hear—again a concern that has been ignored. And Town Hall meetings—What a joke!--There's the outright deception. The public and members of VOICE have been asking for that type of integrity and transparency for months but the City and LL&P have continually ignored those requests. They seem willing only to meet with individuals, which certainly seems to be a desire to create a “divide and conquer” scenario with their spin. Where will it end?
